I was wondering if there is a way to see how much data is replicated as part of a replication session. We have a VNXe at our production site and another one at a DR site and we perform overnight replications of a LUN to the DR site using replication manager 5.4.2. Is there a way to see how much data in terms of GB/MB has actually replicated?
We are able to get a rough idea by calculating the transfer rate over the line using the available bandwidth and the time taken for the replication to take place but wanted a more definitive way of finding this out. Is there a tool that can be used for this or is this information buried somewhere in the logs etc?
Thanks for the reply. The replication session shows as fine although the synchronization shows as manual. Will post the results of nas_cel -l when i get a chance to do this.
Just to confirm, it is a generic iSCSI lun hosting basic file data and we are looking for a way to see how much data has changed and subsequently been replicated.
