acknowledgement

Question

When there is alarm is acknowlegde it does not cleared . I have not added any filter. Is there additional configauration that needs to be done to clear an acknowledged alarm

Hi dele,Do you mean the inactive notifications? If yes you can setup the time in the Global Manager Administration Console in SAM7.1. The value you have to set can be found under ICS Configuration - System Defaults - Inactive Auto Archive Interval.You have to set the Auto Acknowledge Interval as well. The system will proceed as following.If the notification will be set to inactive, the auto acknowledge interval will set it to acknowledged after the specified time. It will stay inactive according the time you set in Inactive Auto Archive Interval. After this time the notification will be archived and not shown on the console anymore.Regards,Adrian

thanksWhat i mean is that a active alarm is acknowledge but fails to clear leaving the screen full of acknowledge alarms
