User Cache Question

Word has it you are not supposed to install User Cache on the same machine with EX. I know it works because I have it running on my VM.
Does anyone know if EMC will support a system with User Cache and EX installed on the same server?

    I have no problem running User Cache service on the same server as EX server. It doesn't cause any problems or conflicts at all. What I found out is that IMSCache.dll crashes outlook a lot and I'm still waiting for Tech.Support people to explain me why and how to fix it.

    Here's an update. It's indeed highly not recommended to have User Cache server and EX server on one box. UC clients tend to crash more often for some reason.
