UNSOLVED
Error code: 0F00: 136C
Msg: IDE device failed: Blank media or no media is present in optical drive. Test requires media with digital data (Resource CD, Installation CD). I cannot open my cd drive therefore making it impossible to insert a cd. I've already tried unplugging all the cables then replugging them again. I've also tried restarting and running an express test on dell diagnostics. No luck so far. I'd be extremely happy if someone could help me out.

Hi Louise,
Click on the CD/RW link in my post and scroll to Section 6-5, article 14 and use the Dell instructions for the Emergency Eject button, then use the article in Section 15, article 1 to clear up a possible driver issue. See if this helps.
