Formatting

I have an Inspiron E1505, and it's been running rather slow the past few days, so I think reformatting it would be a good idea. However... I have no idea how to do so. Could anyone offer me assistance on how to do so?

Unless you relish the thought of several hours worth of reformat/reload/patch/etc., use the quick restore - power on, and at the Dell screen, press CTRL and F11 together, once. Follow the prompts. BACK UP your data first - it will wipe the drive clean and return it to its factory shipped state.
