IDE Hard drive
Hello!!
I have a 100GB hard drive that I would like to install internally can this be done since the existing drive is a SATA device or can I use the primary IDE drive (DVD) connector?

The pc is a Dimension 8400 and it come with a dvdctalia4000

I would not place a DVD on the same connnector with a HD. If you have a free PCI (regular slot) buy a IDE controller card .
