Go to SolutionECC Host Agent of Linux core dumped
Hi,
I installed the master agent in Red Hat Host. And it's running smoothly. But the host agent was timing out. Then I wanted to run it manually. First time it showed:
# /usr/ecc/exec/MLR520/mlragent --help
SDK 13:01:21 SDK 1 P E 4159146192 => Fatal Error - The Environment Variable: ECC_HOME is not set
So I declared it.
# export ECC_HOME=/usr/ecc/exec
Then I ran it again and it faulted and core dumped:
/usr/ecc/exec/MLR520/mlragent
MGR 13:21:39 C P I 4159940816 (0.03 MB) [MGRAgent::MGRAgent] => Starting UNIX Storage Agent
MGR 13:21:39 C I I 4159940816 (0.03 MB) [MGRAgent] => HostSanityCheck: File Systems Presence: OK
MGR 13:21:39 C I I 4159940816 (0.03 MB) [MGRAgent] => HostSanityCheck: Disk Presence: OK!
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Thanks ahead.

I've seen a similar issue previously. You may need to check OS patch/driver levels etc. Are you running the latest Host Agent revision for your ControlCenter version?
Please note that all CC 5.2.x versions went EOSL on 31/01/09.
