SupportAssist - Pin to taskbar

If there is no shortcut on your desktop then here is how you pin it to the task bar.

Open File Explorer. In the search box in the task bar, type SupportAssist. You will see pin it to the task bar. Now you can launch it from the task bar. That's it.

    @August15 ,

    Welcome to the Dell Forums.  The post to which you have responded is almost six years old.

    I never use SupportAssist or Dell Update.  Both are removed from my Dell computers when the warranties expire.  In my opinion, they are more trouble than they are worth.  I check for updates manually on the Dell Support website weekly, using my Service Tags.

    I do not work for, nor do I represent Dell.  I am simply a Dell customer, and a frequent participant on the Dell Forums.

    Have a great day.

    Regards,

    Phil
