recoverpoint vmax change rate
looking for some advice on how to determine the change rate for individual devices. have a vmax 10K single engine, multiple directors and am trying to resize our recoverpoint journal volumes to more accurately reflect the protection windows we are looking for.
you might want to take a look at Watch4net...it's a powerful yet simple to use web-based monitoring, reporting, capacity planning and SLA management tool (by EMC of course...) It can look not just at storage, but network, fabric, etc. for a true end-to-end view oh how things are performing. It'll definitely give you those change rates though...
...plus it's pretty inexpensive...relatively speaking...
