We recently received a new dmx4. The bin file delivered had a vcm volume (042) and 48 gatekeepeers (043 - 072). I am connecting the first windows host (ecc server that runs SE and SMC) to 8a1 and 9a1. The bin file had 042 (vcm) mapped to 8a1 and 9a1. It also had 8 gatekeepers on 8a1 and another 8 on 9a1. I masked these to the two hbas on the windows host. Below is the output from the sympd list. Do I really need 16 gatekeepeers for this host? Can I map and mask these same gatekeepers to other hosts? When going into windows diskmgmt, it is strange to see 18 small 3MB devices (8 gatekeepers and 1 vcm on each FA port).
