OMSA Remote node connection failure
I have the Dell OMSA VIB installed on 3 x R720 servers running ESXi 5.0U1. Openmanage essentials has discovered and inventoried them but I cannot connect via OM Server administrator from a windows server using manage remote node. When the IP address and credentials are entered I just get "login Failure - connection error". Windows server has latest OMSA managed node installed

Gerry,
There is currently a bug with ESXi 5.0 update 1 which affects the CIM provider which OMSA uses to access the system. Since you are at update 1, OMSA won’t work until after patch 3 is released in late June. If you need OMSA to work you may delay going to update 1 until after patch 3 is released.
