What use case would require setting IP addresses using the Lifecycle Controller? - R430

I just received 4 new R430's and I have little experience with these.  I plan on installing RHEL 6 on them, or possibly centos.  All I can figure is maybe remote booting from a SAN or something similar.  I can't imagine my RHEL or centos OS will be able to have any use for this kind of configuration.

Well I went ahead and added DHCP to one of the interfaces, and I can imagine using this to update drivers via http:, but I don't have a local repo of DELL drivers, nor does this lifecycle controller suggest any updates.  And all of the drivers on the site are for windows.  I suppose firmware should be assumed up to date then.

Does anybody know where to get the updated drivers that I can post to my repo server?
