Browser forces port 80

Hi,

When I open the browser to say 'tweakers.net', I get a message saying that the host is wrong for 'tweakers.net:80' . It looks like the browser is forcing all requests to go via port 80. I've had this with a bunch of other sites as well.

Anyone have a similar problem? Know a solution?

I have a Dell Streak with Android 2.2 (official update).

Regards,

DiLupo

    Have that problem aswell.

Might also have to do something with the "to many redirects" bug in the brower.

You might want to try opera , that brower does make the website work.

There are just some small bugs in the browser that need to be fixed.

Opera works ok, but is only a work around I guess. I really enjoyed using the stockbrowser and would like it working again... Any ideas for a real fix?
