Emergency Chrome patch

A severe zero-day flaw has been discovered in the Chrome browser. Google has developed a patch to fix the bug.

The flaw is tracked as CVE-2021-4102. Google says it has already been used “in the wild” by hackers, meaning that unprotected systems are vulnerable.

Click the 3-dot menu icon in Chrome and go to About Google Chrome and make sure it checks to see if you have the latest updated version...

    Ron,

Doesn't Chrome update automatically?  (e.g., daily??)

If I so, I realize that a manual check might force the update a few hours earlier, but that you'd be getting it anyway "soon enough".

    (Edge Chromium updates automatically...)

Yes, Chrome should update automatically, unless users disabled auto-updates...

And since this is an "emergency" patch, sooner is better...
