SO...you don't believe that DDoS attacks should be considered a higher priority? The GSA may disagree loudly.
Read this.
Fact is though,
Computer Intrusions are first on the FBI's list of "Cyber Crime" priorities...bots and other malware are really just an IT room concern. I think this opportunity for the feds to "roast" a few bot herders was too good to pass up.

Pretty much what I said. That link is just another Govt agency focused on the wrong things like the FBI.

But is it on their Git er done list?
Truth is I would not want to be responsible for securing anyone's network, Near Impossible I think.

lol it's not at all what you said. What you said was:
Bots are used for DDOS attacksand spam, I think protecting HS networks from keyloggers and breakins is way ahead of bot nets.
...and what the article in the link I posted says, basically, is that DDoS attacks are to be considered one of the most potentially damaging attack methods yet to be developed.
Their concern is much greater regarding DDoS attacks than it is for the common malware issues such as key loggers and hackers.
...but to answer your query, Yes. It's indeed on their "git er done" list.

So I will say it again, Bots are used for DDOS attacks and spam, I think protecting HS networks from keyloggers and breakins is way ahead of bot nets. So, I don't believe. Made that pretty clear with my first statement.
