Virus?

Even though I have the latest virus protection from AOL, I seem to have acquired an annoying virus.  I ocassionally hear a kissing sound or a ye-haaa sound.  I occurs infrequently.

Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

If any of your buddy's has a custom AOL profile they can add a sound effect that you will hear every time they log on or off. They would have to be on your buddy list though.A friend of mine says loser every time he signs on and off.It kind of freaked me out the first couple of times I heard it.

Some ads on certain sites also have movement sensitivity and if you run your pointer across them you hear the audio. The myspace ad with the smilies is a good example. I would hear the random audio go off and wonder what it was. I would make sure it isn't that as well.

Try using the housecall scanner or the AVF Antispyware 7.5 canner.
