how do I find disks queue depth on vmax ? what is recommended level ?
Hi Folks,
I would like to find out what is disk queue depth set on our vmax. How Do I find that information ? What is recommendation level ? I will appreciate your reply.

That can't be correct. Something is wrong. I would suggest opening a case. Maybe you need a SE/SPA update.

In SPA's diag view, you get the avg queue depth for each disk but dont know if its correct or not.

There is a average disk queue counter on the drive stats. To get good response time from the drives, the queue should be low, 1 or 2. To get the maximum throughput from the drives, you need more IOs queued, but the response time will suffer. There is no setting for this.
