How to modify syslog config with using /etc/AUDIT_tool?

I tried to change syslog facility with using /etc/AUDIT_tool/AUDIT_messages.pl.

The instruction is written on the following document (Page.7).

     https://mydocs.emc.com/VNXDocs/Auditing.pdf

But the perl script seems to have something wrong.

So, does anyone have new version of AUDIT_messages.pl

Or any EMC documents which contains how to change syslog facility?

[root@VNX5300-CS0 AUDIT_tool]# ./AUDIT_messages.pl -syslog_facility=LOG_USER

Argument "LOG_AUTH" isn't numeric in numeric eq (==) at ./AUDIT_messages.pl line 212.

Argument "LOG_USER" isn't numeric in numeric eq (==) at ./AUDIT_messages.pl line 212.

** I confirmed NAS code 6.0/7.0/7.1 use the same AUDIT_messages.pl.

    Yes, I opened one.

    But it was back to the field as the case is not for break and fix...

    Do you have any idea how to proceed to improve the script?

    Can you share a copy of the script? Should be a simple fix...

    I think I shouldn't attach the script here for secrity reason.

    If you are with EMC and please send me an email, I can send you the script.

    Or If you would like to see the script, the AUDIT_tool script seems to be installed on your Control Station by default installation.

    I also checked the script.

    I changed the comparative operator in the line:212 from numerical (==) to character string (eq).

    But It still didn't run properly (The prompt wasn't returned for more than 10 minuites).

    What is the path to the script by default?  I was looking for it to download on support.emc.com,  but did not find it..

    Just login on a VNX - it is NOT an extra download

    All my VNX arrays are block only...  I have a slew of Unified CX4 arrays... couldn't find the script on the cs tho..

    I confirmed that the same issue exists in the following codes on our test environment.

    7.1.71-1

    7.0.54-5

    6.0.70-4

    You could also try disabling the warning.  Add the line "no warnings 'numeric';" to the tp of the code...

    I'm thinking this would be an easy fix - but i'm a perl guy so..  But I don't have the script anywhere in my environment to play with and can't find a copy to DL on powerlink...
