Vostro 3558 backlight keyboard

Hello!
I've got the same question as posted in this thread.  I've managed to successfully replace default keyboard with one that has backlight, connected both keyboard and ZIF connectors, but still can't figure out how to turn on the backlight. There is no such option in BIOS (I've got the latest version). Is there a way to finally turn on the backlight? Thank you.
I've created a separate discussion 'cause can't reply anywhere due to "Unexpected error".

If the option isn't there in Setup, even with the connector present, the system does not support a backlit keyboard.

It would be Miracle if it works

However the model does come with Keyboard Backlit option. I don't think Dell would make a separate modtherboard for each option. Unless it's limited by the connector itself.

    Give it a try
