after xps-sp2 installation, java script problems

hi.. i installed sp2...just the way it said too.. with downloading latest drivers, running ad aware, and running spybot first.
after installing sp2, i see the program runs fine.. no problems with anything except the java program for yahoo games... will not load java.. help please

    You might try to uninstall java and then try to reinstall it. The directions for uninstalling Java are here. See if this helps.

    i tried to uninstall and reinstall java.. when it reinstalled.. it put in newer 1.5.0 version.. i had 1.4.1... now.. it won't even attemtp to start applet in yahoo

    Is the box checked in IE, tools, internet options, advanced tab 'use JRE applet' ?
