Hi,

 

  I have had a Dell Dimension 4700C for the last two years and have been very happy with its performance. The OS is WIndows XP SP2 and it hasn't given any problems. But just recently, a file call keeps popping up that is most bothersome but also one I can't seem to identify and remove! Note that I regularly scan for virii using Norton plus Windows Defender, Spybot and Ad-Aware.

 

  The file XP seems to be looking for is:

 

   SmartSound QuickTracks Plugin.msi

 

 It first appeared when I installed the game Splinter Cell and again appears when I attempt to print labels using ProWrite in MS Outlook. Also, I recently installed a wireless router, but I don't think this could be the cause.

 

 I tried to find the file on the XP install disk and MS Office install disk, but no luck.

 

  Anyone have any suggestions??? Yes, I know this isn't a major issue, but its driving me nuts!!!
