Blue Screen Stop error: 0x0000008E error

I'm trying to fix my friends computer, because it has a Blue screen with the stop error: 0x0000008E (0xc0000005, 0xBF8C9058, 0xF87967DC) Win32K.sys -address BF8C9058 base at BF800000, Datestamp 3d6de5e5.

I have tried all these different things to solve it, but no luck so far:

Diagnostic bootable disc
DFT (Drive Fitness test)
NFTS bootable disc
Ram Memtest, and that seems OK.

I've tried different things in recovery console also.

Computer will not load in Safe Mode or any other way.

Either it is bad RAM, a virus, or the day before the crash a lot of updates were downloaded (including a Service Pack). I have 2 different hotfixes from Microsoft, but not sure how to get them from CD to Recovery console?

Any help or ideas would be great!

Appears to be a memory issue per HERE.

Try booting with just one stick at a time in slot 1.

Another option might be to try a Repair Reinstall
