I am trying to upgrade from DirectX 8 to 9C on a Optiplex  GX110 running Windows 2000 SP4.

 

I have downloaded the DirectX upgrade and when I run the install it fails with the msg:

 

A cabinet file necessary for the installation cannot be trusted.

 

Any suggestions?
