One of the first troubleshooting tips with Bluetooth mouse is to replace the batteries.  Brand new mouse with very weak batteries is not uncommon.

Yes I did try new batteries.

Not sure about Blue tooth.  It is an RF Wireless Mouse.

When you plug it in the computer will recognize it is there and you can not use the touch pad.

Then nothing !!
