Creating New User Problem

Hey guys, i've been running vista home premium for a few months now without any problems. However recently i have tried to add a few new user accounts and i have run into a little problem. It allows me to create the user, but when i try to login it just sits at a pretty blank blue screen with the mouse cursor..i've had it sit overnight thinking it was just loading settings/preparing the desktop, but nope nothing! not sure what i should do. Anyone have any similar problems?

(If you are willing) try creating a fourth account ("whatgives" might be a good Login ID) to see whether the same thing happens this time. Make it a member of "Administrators" and make sure it is also a member of "Users"

i have tried but its the exact same result...i even tried turning on the guest account and logging into that but nothing..what happens is that windows live onecare pops up asking to continue trial or activate and then after that its just the blue screen with the cursor...i can ctrl-alt-dlt to log out and everything but other than that nothing happens
