Dell Support Center 2.1.0.0 won't uninstall
Trying to speed up this old Dimension 4600, removing any programs I don't really need. Want to '86' old version of dell support (version 2.1.0.0 as reported by add/remove programs utility).
When i go to uninstall, it starts running, saying "please wait while windows configures dell support)...and then a minute or so later, it says "canceling" and closes itself out.
Any advice as to how I can get this program to properly uninstall? Thanks.

Win XP Home SP2

thanks for the idea alexandra, but unfortunately, no go.
search yielded no MSI files that could be connected to that application. And yeah, i had it set to search in system and hidden folders and files. :smileyhappy:
other suggestions?

Hmmm. Either the installer really is gone, or it's gone incognito. Unfortunately there's a multitude of versions of this thing and none of them are documented.
CCleaner might be worth a try - its uninstall feature (under Tools) might find something. Nice tool to have anyway for cleaning up.
