Downgrading windows!!

Hi all My problem is quite simple. I had windows Home Premium x32 preinstalled on my laptop ( a dell xps M1330) and i replaced it with a Windows Vista Ultimate x64... Now i wish to downgrade it,without having to format it...

Can anyone advise me?

well i was thinking of a patch or something which can deactivate my current windows so that the new installation would take it and "upgrade" it...

I think there isn't such thing right?

    Also one piece of advice...

I have a Dell XPS m1330 which is supposed to be a really great laptop because it got Nvidia graphics in it (Nvidia GeForce 8400M gs)...I changed the OS into Vista Ultimate 64 bits and play games, even installed ubuntu over it...which was great...but after sometimes, amazingly the battery life began to drop and the laptop heats more than usual...It even began to freeze constantly so i brought it for reparation as it was in warranty...they changed the motherboard as it blew...And months later the battery is dead still no explanation...Now i changed battery n everything and the laptop still heats up...Do you think its the vista ultimate 64 bits?

I really can't play with it,using my graphics too much turns the screen off and freeze the PC...:S thanks

Hi avishramgolam, Your right, there is no patch. Fireberd is right, the only way to get it back on is to an clean install.

Everything I've seen says you will have to do a reinstall, you can't "downgrade" over top of a 64 bit installation.
