Did you reinstall the operating system or use the System Restore? If you did the former, go to Start|Control Panel|Display|Settings tab and use the slider to increase the resolution on your monitor.
Go to the Reinstall Guide link in the drop down menu below Product Support above this forum. Enter your system information and it will display a list of links to installation instructions.
This was the first time i used this forum for a problem. i just want to thank Denny Durham and Matt Cowger for your advise. Both of the solutions worked.
Why dont you just adjust to a higher screen resolution?
Control Panel/ Appearence and Themes/Display/Settings
:robotwink:
Because until the graphics adapter drivers are installed the system is running on XP's default VGA resolution and the resolution cannot be changed, as evidenced by the poster's statement that the slider on the Settings tab cannot be moved.
