Flashplayer 9
My new Vista laptop will not allow installation of Flashplayer 9 (or 8) even tho Dell itself provides software that requires its use. Can someone get me over the bump? How do you tell if a software program is Vista compatable?

It probably installed, but for some reason its not letting the install finish and the plugin to be used.Go to c:\windows\system32\macromed\and run a file called flash util.hit install on that program that comes up and you should be in business again.
