Forgot BIOS password

Hi am new to this and its my first laptop and my problem is that i forgot my password to enter when i press f2 so i tried entering to guess what my password was but no hope so it gave me a hint key and i wasn't sure what it do, i tried typing it in but still nothing i get 3 goes then it changes hint key, so could someone please help me?

    Will this effect me if i needed to use a password recovery disk? or system repair disk

    You have not said what model you have, but, look at this guide HERE, and then go into dell to get your manual to find out where your jumper settings are etc.

    I dont want to take apart my laptop just to remove the BIOS password is there a program to remove it? i tried some cmd thing i found on the internet and i tried entering the hint key so it gave me a password and i tried entering it but didn't work.

    The only guaranteed way to get the password removed is to call Dell for a master password.

    You will have to be confirmed as the owner and will be charged a phone support call if you are out of warranty.

    If am going to try and call them witch one should i go for? the solution station or base, in home service so i think it would be in home service because i always use it at home so would that be the correct number to call?

    And this master password will allow me to go into BIOS setup when i press F2? i did look into how to reset the password by taking the laptop apart but seemed bit to much for me i just dont want to make a mistake or damage anything while am doing it.
