It worked for me. Some people reported that for particular versions of Dell OEM XP pro disks it did not work.

The easiest way is to use Aurostreamer (free).

Worked for me on two different brands of XP Pro, one of which was the Dell OEM version, so yea it can be done.  What problem are you having?

Paul Thurrott wrote a great article on this subject.  The only thing I had to do was rename the downloaded file name to match his instructions and it worked like a champ.

Hi there, I went to that website and it didn't work,  and it gave the error when it got to the intergrated part,  it said, " This service pack cannot be integrated into a destination that also has integrated software updates.  Consult the Service Pack documentation for more details about supported integration scenarios"   what should i do?
