OK, I already tried installing WMP 10, and it did not help.
Here's what happened:
This morning, I went to watch a video . I maximized the screen, but the top and bottom toolbars remained. Then it goes back to standard view (not full screen).
I kept trying to keep it maximized, but it would not stay. I was not movin the mouse, or using the keyboard.
What could have caused this? I "solved" the problem by using GoBack.
But what if it happens again, and there are no restore points available?
I tried Google, no luck. I must have messed something up, unless it is Window's fault.
Thank you if you have any solutions. Is there some registry entry that could cause this?
I did not install any new programs, but I did uninstall some old programs unrelated to WMP.

My slogan, when it comes to installing new versions of most programs, especially Micro$oft programs, is "You go first!"
