IE 7 Bugs

Since I upgraded to IE 7, I am having some annoying problems that I cannot solve:

1) My “links” incons are constantly being re-arranged upon exit. I unlock the toolbar, then reset them and lock the toolbar, but that does not help.
2) I can no longer see MapQuest maps (I have tried changing my popup blocker, ZoneAlarm, etc. settings to no avail). I can get directions, but maps will not display.
3) Whenever I close IE, I get the following error message: iexplore.exe-application error. The instruction at “0x6c371351” referenced at “0x00000004”. The memory could not be “read”. Click on OK to terminate the program.

None of these problems occurred prior to upgrading from IE 6. I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, Dave

hard to say. maps are showing up fine for me in mapquest. i don't use the links toolbar. the memory error occured for me occassionally in IE6 on a specific website only. it can occur due to bad programming. it can also be a virus that DEP stops I believe?

Regardless, run a full anti-virus and spyware scan. Remove any 3rd party browser plugins you maybe using.

Worst case, revert back to IE6.

Try the User Agent String Utility to make IE7 compatible with websites and programs designed for IE6.
