Intel 82801 FBM Driver

Hi , I have searched the forum and dell support for  (Intel(R) 82801 FBM Ultra ATA Storage Controllers-2653 driver. )
I have also been to RadarSync with no luck. I need these for my I 9300 Laptop. All I find are drivers for the desktop.  I would like to install Vista and when I did the Dell check they gave me a list of drivers I needed and none of them are on the Dell Driver Site except the Delll Support 3.1
I found my Nvidia 6800 and Alps touch pad but I can't find the Intell Drivers anywhere. I have also been to the Windows Vista board.
Hope some one can help

It is part of the chipset driver, go here http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-011594.htm choose 915P or whatever it is identifed as using the utility below ( Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility), then choose your OS, download and install after Vista is installed.

You may want to use this utility to identify what version of the 915 chipset you have for sure. http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpu-z-140.zip

Thank you I have gone there.  Now I am wondering if I should just buy the full program instead of the upgrade. If I buy the full program will all of my drivers be there? I thought this was going to be so easy and now I am wondering if it is the right thing to do. I can't figure why Dell doesn't have these drivers or Windows for that matter. Someone told me that the full version will have all of the drivers. I would like to do a clean install. I also think I will install on my spare hard drive then I won't have to worry.
    Well thanks again

    Hi Sew Naturally
I think you will have the drivers on the Vista DVD if it were me i would do
the clean install to the other H drive and get the Full retail version if it does not
work out you can install it on another PC of your choice you may have to call Microsoft by PH if you move it.
Fact is if you install it do not type in the Key Code you have 30 days to test it before it calls Home
and there is the option of 30 to 60 days and i think 120 can be done also
as they say goggle for it it is something like ---rearm !
    Just my input
    See Yea

Thank you I have found my driver they are on windows vista drivers. I found them through Yedda.com website.  Yesterday was the first I had been to that site and I posted there to find this driver and got an answer today.
I still think I will get the full version and will definately use a spare hard drive. I wonder how much trouble I will have doing my XPS.
Thank You again.  Now I have all my drivers transfer cables just have to buy Vista later today.
