Lost Shortcuts...
I have just tried to copy a list of shortcuts to e mail...got a message that this was not possible...I did not record the exact message.
Now, the shortcuts show 'Type: URL^File' and do not connect.
Is there a way to recover from yet another example of my stupidity?

I find that if a shortcut gets broken, the simplest way is to create a new one.Reply LemonDrop50

I Love That:smileytongue:How do i do that or get that or do i have that?Reply - PS...I recalled that I had saved my file of IE shortcuts on a memory stick...GREAT.Put the stick in - file opens, showing IE shortcuts as before the error - I send the file to My Documents, hoping to re install...The file from the memory stick shows the same useless file extensions!!!Can I go into Tools, Folder Options and somehow restore the IE connections - and does this affect ONLY the Folder I am working on...don't want to risk affecting other Folder settings.

I am not clear whether these are shortcuts to URL links on e.g. your desktop, or whether they are the ones in your favorites folder. If the latter, try deleting the favorites short cuts that don't work, then use in IE, file menu import/export, import the favorites from your stick.Reply LemonDrop50
