Missing Vista Application

Ever since I upgraded my E-1505 to vista I keep getting a popup saying the application winsscimmon.dll application need be loaded, I reloaded Vista again and I am still getting the same thing. Anyone have any idea?

    Check the spelling on that DLL file... I cannot locate any references to that file name anywhere...

    it is WINSSCOMMON.DLL

    Have you ever heard of this little known website called Google?
     
    Typed it in and hey presto this was on the 2nd or 3rd link:
     
    winsscommon.dll (Windows OneCare Live Common) is a component from the software Windows OneCare Live version 0.8.38 by Microsoft Corporation
     
    So it's from Windows OneCare, try uninstalling and reinstalling this program or better yet uninstall it and replace it with a free virus scanner that actually works (AVG Free would be my recommendation from http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5)!
