Need help with Gmail
the other day i forgot my password into gmail and had Google reset my password by sending me a link to a site where i can change it. when i first created the account i gave them my secondary e-mail address from yahoo but when i went to reset the password they could not find it on record and said maybe i did not complete the registration. so i followed the link where i saw the heading create an account and asked me for my current e-mail address. so i put in my yahoo e-mail address and when i was done it said my email for the Google account was my yahoo e-mail address. by doing this will i mess up my password on the yahoo site if i chose a different one for Google?
No. And youcan change your google pw again once inside. I did same thing couple weeks ago by accident when trying to check out via google to pay for a purchase. Thought I had a diff PW for that account and messed up my email addy, but it is all correct now.

- so if i set my Google account with my yahoo e-mail with a different yahoo password, the change will only apply to Google.com and not yahoo.com. in other words, when i go to yahoo.com and put in my emial address and password i can put in the password i set up with yahoo.com and it will work and the yahoo password from google.com will only work on google.com?
