Network Drive Vanishes

Sorry if this has been posted before. I have many network drives mapped on my desktop (and several others in the office) and for some reason one of them just plain vanishes. I can connect to it without issue anytime I want, but after some amount of time I'll go back into "my computer" and it's no longer listed. All of the others are still there. There are 2 other drives on the same path that never go away, just the one I call Z:

Any suggestions?

    try a different drive letter?

try running the following command in a command prompt.
    start>run>type run and hit enter
    net use z: \\server\sharename /persistent:yes

let me know if you any questions

Did you check the box that says, "Reconnect at logon"?

    Thanks for your suggestions guys!

I tried mapping the share as two different drive letters, and upon restart Z: was gone again, however I also pathed to the same location and called it R: which stuck with me. This is even after I tried the "net use" command.

This is obviously easily worked around, but I'd still like to get to the bottom of this.

    Thanks,
    Shane
