Paint Shop Pro need help
I have a dimensions 4600 which came with PSP 7.0 that has expired as it was a trial version. My question is what should I upgrade to. If I follow the link it brings me to Corel Paint Shop Pro X. Would this be the correct program to purchase because there is a Paint Shop 8.0. Not sure what to do here . I had Dell Picture Studio and just want to be able to use that program again without getting a message that says expired. If I get the Corel will it make all the originals work again or do I need other programs also. If so which ones. Im stuck here if someone could just tell me in simple language as this is new to me.
I just wish it gave me one option ...to upgrade, I purchase and end of story.
What I want to do is be able to edit photo images (learn how and have what is needed to do so)

I bought the paint shop pro X last Feb and love it. I got it on a electronic e mail and i saved it on disk but forgot to write down the serial numer. I have talke to dell & Corel now what ??? Thank YouJRosenfeld

The current version is XI, but a lot of users complain about it. I have X and am happy with it (after installing the updates that fixed some bugs).There are user forums that you can access with a newsgroup reader e.g. Oulook express. The server is cnews.corel.com. Would be worth checking out.

Corel Paint Shop Pro X is version 10 of the same program. Jasc's Paint Shop Pro was purchased by Corel and now Corel puts their name on it.
I have a paid version of 7 that I just love, it does all I need and I see zero need to pay more money to upgrade or buy a new copy. New versions have more options and hence are more confusing to idiots like me.
I'd say if you can find Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 in a store, snap it up. If not, Corel X is a decent choice. Adobe Photoshop is way too intense for simple photo edits.
