    Naresh,

It involves editing your registry, and you should NOT attempt that until you understand a great deal more about your computer.

Until then, leave the items there; they will remove themselves, one at a time [first in, first out], once the list grows to its maximum number. I believe that the maximum is somewhere around 10; however I could be totally wrong about that.

    Naresh Kumar,

The little file here will clear that list and several others for you.

This is the registry key that has all the RUN commands. You can delete them from here. Using Start> Run> type in Regedit, navigate to this key and DELETE the items you want NOT to be listed.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU

After a reboot the DELETED items will be gone.

To edit those items in the registry you must delete all except Default. otherwise the MRUlist entry will not point to valid entries.

    Denny,

As a test (second time),  I deleted two items from the MRU list and rebooted. After the reboot everything left listed in the Start> Run menu (minus the two deleted entries) worked as intended. Added the two deleted items and they opened OK too.
