I have an Inspiron 3452 that I need to restore to factory default.  When I attempted to do so I got the message that there was not enough space to do so.  I booted to command prompt and formatted drive C:.  System will boot for troubleshooting but option to restore is not present.  I downloaded and installed the "Dell OS Recovery Tool" and then downloaded the 6.37GB file to create the recovery drive.  When I use the Recovery Tool is spends about 30 seconds "creating" the USB drive.  The drive is not bootable.  When I look at the drive it has a README file that says the drive has a UDF file system and requires an OS that can read it (I have Windows 10).  It also has a [BOOT] folder which contains 2 files:  1-Boot-NoEmul and 2-Boot-NoEmul, 4Kb and 1Kb respectively.  The drive is a 16GB stick with 64Kb used.  To install the Recovery Tool I did have to open a command prompt as admin because installing the normal way I got errors 2503 and 2502.

Does anybody have any suggestions?  I could just use my Windows 10 USB stick but would like to have all of the original software back.
