I have tried several times to restore my system to an earlier date, and I keep receiving the following message:

 

           "Your computer cannot be restored to Friday, May 02, 2008.

           System Checkpoint

           No changes have been made to your computer

           To choose another restore point, restart System Restore"

 

I have tried a few of the other available dates in the month of May but without success.

 

Can you suggest ways I can resolve this problem?  I have used System Restore in the past without any problem.

 

I have a Dell Dimension 4100 Desktop computer with Windows XP - Home Edition - operating system - Service Pack 2, Pentium 111 processor at 930 MHZ, 20 GB Hard Drive and 512 MB of RAM.  The file system is FAT 32.
