Time synchronization problem

I cannot execute time synchronization, and the error message is "An error occurred getting the status of the last synchronization.  The RPC server is unavailable."
 
Steps:
1. Click the clock (right buttom corner)
2. Select the tab page "Internet time"
3. fill in the server name: time.windows.com
4. Press "update now" button
 
I am using Inspiron 630m.

    Try using http://tf.nist.gov/service/its.htm

    oldtraveler,

    Thanks for your information. 

    I didn't register the service w32tm.exe.  To register this service by the command 'w32tm /register'.

    Then follow your information.  It works now.
