Two volume controls on Taskbar

How do I stop two volume controls being installed on booting.

Rgith click on one of them and croak (delete) it.

That does nothing to stop it installing on the next bootup.

Okay, then try this to prevent it from happening after each startup. At the Windows desktop go to Start>Run and type in msconfig. Go to the Startup tab and see if there's anything in the list that loads the volume control icon and uncheck one of them. You'll probably find it listed twice.
