Upgrade kit missing Vista disk

On Friday I received my Vista upgrade for the computer I purchased in Dec.

I received 1-dell assistantDVD, 1-vista quick guide, 1-upgrade tech sheet, and 1 cert of authenticity. The Vista disk was missing.

Where do I call/write to get this corrected. The email address on the packaging that came is not working.

I had the same thing Happen to me. But I got 2 of the dell assistant DVD's and no Vista DvD..I was told that They were going to charge me more shipping and that it would take another 7 weeks to get the Vista DVD. So I got an E-Mail from Jackie a Dell Customer Advocate saying that She was looking in to the matter for me. You will need to call the Number that was on the cert of authenticity and let them know that you did not get the Vista DVD...at least now I know I am not the only one with this Problem.
Let us know what they say. PS Call 1-800-634-7426

This is unbelievable they should have extras on hand in case of problems. I will bet that before this whole upgrade thing is near completion there are some folks you will have new careers.

It's a ashamed for those who have already waited a long time for there upgrade, and then don’t have what they expected. I cant they believe they have to wait 5 more weeks.

I hope this doesn’t happen to me. I'm still waiting for my vista upgrade since February 1st.

With this whole entire upgrade program, has been frustrating. They should have been more prepared for this.

I could forward you two a copy of mine. As long as you have a license and cert of authenticity.Thats all you need. The Vista Home Premium Disk? You'll have it in days. You could be months waiting for your replacement.

I received my kit today with product key for Vista Business (correct), but DVD is for XP Media Center to Vista Home Premium. I have XP Pro and need Vista Business. Is this how they all are (to upgrade to Business)? Does anyone know if this will work, or if I have to get a different DVD from Dell?

That would be Great..But I am not to sure if our  license and cert of authenticity are good anymore...If someone that was packing these just took the DVD's for themselfs and may have used the Cert Numbers.?

You do realize that a Vista Disk is a vista disk.  The one you have that is incorrectly labeled contains Home, Home Premium, Business, and Ultimate.  It just comes down to the code on your label.

You will have no difficulties with your upgrade (Assuming that your Certificate of Authenticity says the correct version).

    Cheers!
