Most are Phoenix and no you can only us a Dell bios

Not trying to change who I use.

Do you happen to know if Dell's BIOS uses nVidia driver threshold temperature or does it use the Dell BIOS threshold temperature?

Nope and it's proably something that will be hard to find.
