Windows 2003 - ActiveX Error When Requesting Certificate

Hello, I have a Dell PowerEdge server with Windows 2003 Standard installed.

I'm trying to get SSL set up for IIS 6.0, and I have successfully installed a Certificate on my web server.

However, when I try browsing to http://my.website.com/CertSrv and then go through the steps to get a Client certificate so that I can browse the secured areas of the site, I get the following error.

"The proper version of the ActiveX Control failed to download and install. You may not have sufficient permissions. Please ask your system administrator for assistance."

I have local administrator access to my workstation (Windows XP Pro), and I have added my.website.com to my Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer.

Has anyone encountered this when configuring a Windows 2003 web server?! I found one link on Microsoft's site but it doesn't help,

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=330211

I already have the listed fix on my workstation and there is also no mention of Windows 2003 at that article.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!!

Sorry, on a different planet this afternoon - wasn't thinking Server at all. Must engage brain first next time.

Good luck with finding a solution.

Windows 2003 server is the latest (AFAIK) server product Microsoft has released; it combines a lot of Windows 2000 with security enhancements and other features found in Windows XP, except it's a server OS.
