Windows loading
I just installed service pack 3 a few days ago and if I restart windows, windows takes longer to load then when I had service pack 2 installed. The extra wait time is only a few minutes, but it is noticeable. Is there anything that I can do to speed up windows loading with service pack 3 installed?

Ok go to start run and type C:WINDOWS/PrefetchPhilip_Yip

Do you have windows installed on the c drive?
C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch is the file path, but will be different if you have windows installed on a differently name partition.

So do you not have a prefetch folder?
In the windows folder?

Hmmm thats wierd I thought it was a standard folder.
Have a look here a guy seems to be having similar symptoms to you:

Try cleaning out your prefetch
C:WINDOWS/Prefetch
Delete everything in this folder, it will be slower a bit but the most used applications should return.
