Windows Media Player 11

My media player 11 will not play any of my music without skips.  How can I fix this?

I think some machines had issues with Sigmatel audio, try disabling the enhancements.

Click Pearl, type in Sound; or go to control panel and open Sound. Double click Speakers/Headphones, go to Enhancements tab and click Disable All enhancements.

    Hope this helps.

You can get there quicker by right clicking on the speaker icon in the tray and selecting Playback Devices as well.
