Windows Update
I want to make sure my windows are updated, so I go to the window update icon and after a couple of screens, it says there is a problem with the website, try later. I get error # Ox80072f76. Any idea what is up?

Thanks, I'll check it out and see what happens. I just received a new download from McAfee firewall. so that could be it. will let you know.chesterstubby

I did all you mentioned, I did not understand Step 1 or Step 2, what does all that mean. I did add Microsoft IP address to my McAfee Firewall trusted sites 207.46.`30.108 and made sure my windows firewall had it also. Still the website can not be acessed for updating...Anything else?

Have a look here, scroll down to error # Ox80072f76 and click it. Could be a Firewall setting.
